The Open Source Project is founded by Adobe to develop flash web browsing and standalone applications — taking advantage of Adobe® Flash® Player and, in the future, Adobe® AIR®. Flash Player for smartphones is expected to be available to handset manufacturers at the end of 2009. At the moment flash videos (youtube) can viewed for example with video software programs from CorePlayer.com.
